Matteo started his career in Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), then he joined Lazard's Real Estate team in 2000, where he held the position of Vice President until 2007.
In 2007 he joined Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking team, initially in London before relocating to Milan as Head of the Real Estate industry for the Italian market.
He left Credit Suisse in 2011 to become a financial advisor, collaborating with other professionals and investment bankers to support Italian groups and foreign investors in M&A transactions and Real Estate debt restructuring.
From 2016 to 2022, Matteo took the role of Director at Coima SGR, focusing on turnaround operations and the reorganization of real estate funds, overseeing over 10 real estate funds valued at approximately 1.5 billion euros.
Throughout his career, Matteo has been involved in transactions totalling more than 4 billion euros, including over 1 billion euros in non-performing loans (NPLs), and financial debt negotiation and restructuring operations exceeding 1.5 billion euros.
Matteo currently holds the position of Senior Advisor at Meti, focusing on the real estate sector.
